Today I attended 6 hour art class in Brooklyn. Very much outside my comfort zone. Very much a beginner. I loved it the experience of trying something completely new. It took me right out of my normal brain which was indeed a brain holiday. Great teacher. I learned stippling which I found quite challenge and will require much practicing. Hence the photo of the location and not the picture! 😂

I started a jigsaw today. It is a good metaphor for when hard things happen, to not look too far ahead. Instead focus on the next thing and after that, the next thing. That’s enough, and that’s ok ❤️

Something different today. A short convo with an AI agent about Hostinger’s (web hosting company) jumping on the name change money making bandwagon. It would be funny if it wasn’t true! “Get up, stand up, Stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, Don’t give up the fight.”

My favourite tree has fallen. I visited it most weeks. It was bit of a ritual and a constant. This quote from Amy Poehler resonates “Change is the only constant. Learn to surf your life instead of planting your feet”. Despite that, the grounding of ritual can still be found I think. It is just a matter of holding it lightly. The two other trees I can see from my yard. Very grateful.
