This week is NAIDOC Week, a time to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Bowel cancer is the second deadliest cancer in Australia, yet it is also one of the most treatable when found early, with up to 99% of cases successfully treated in their early stages. Early action truly saves lives.
