What has happened since finally cutting cords with my ex *after eight years* ♾

♡ I FEEL F R E E - the only way I can explain this feeling is like a darkness has lifted from my aura & if you’ve been following me awhile then you would’ve seen this change in my energy ✨

♡ My whole perspective has changed.
I used to believe we were a tragic love story, now I see it for what it truly was & that’s a huge ass awakening with a lot of growth and transformation.

♡ The thoughts and memories don’t haunt me anymore.
If something reminds me of that time in my life there is no emotional connection. I don’t feel anymore pain, just gratitude.

♡ My current relationship can breathe again.
My poor Benji spent the last two years with my baggage and stood by me, lifting me up every single day. Thank God for his patience; but now that I am finally free of the trauma we can finally embrace our connection without the energy of trauma.
