Before you start your fertility treatment journey, a range of initial investigations occur to get a strong understanding of your health and what may be impacting your ability to conceive. Normally, those investigations include a range of blood tests that your GP can usually assist with prior your appointment with a fertility specialist. In this video Dr Shree Mane talks you through what may be included in these investigations.

Before you can book in with one of our fertility specialists, you'll need a referral from your GP, which is an important step to determine if fertility treatments are right for you.

Here's what that usually looks like:
🤍 Book an appointment with your GP to talk through your situation and whether first-line or more advanced fertility treatments might be the right starting point for you
🤍 Your GP will likely run some initial investigations, including a range of blood tests, to build a clearer picture of your fertility health
🤍 Once that's done, they'll write up your referral and you're ready to request a consultation with us via our website

Egg freezing isn't just for one type of person and there's no single "right" reason to consider it. You might be thinking about it if you're:

At Connect IVF, we have a range of locations where our specialists are able to assist you. Our main consultation space is within Sydney's C*D, at Next Practice Sydney. At this location, you'll find a calming atmosphere featuring our bamboo living room that's been designed to help you relax and remove stress from your journey to parenthood.

The Sydney C*D clinic is located on 20 Bridge Street, making it the perfect location stop in the middle of your work day, or easy to get to with public transport with Wynyard and Circular Quay stations near by. There are also a range of car parks within the C*D that can assist those driving in.
