Did you know your tongue has a resting position?
Ideally, the tongue should rest on the roof of the mouth. A low tongue posture can influence jaw development, breathing patterns and oral function.
Our goal isn’t simply to improve tongue posture. We want to understand why it’s happening.
Through a comprehensive functional assessment, we look at the whole picture to achieve the best possible outcomes. Every individual is different, so recommendations are made on a case-by-case basis.
When appropriate, we collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including airway-focused dentists, ENT specialists, and bodyworkers, to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
If you have questions about your child’s oral development or breathing, send us a DM or comment below.
