Procedure: Abdominoplasty for symptomatic Re**us Divarication (MBS 30175).
Time between images: Photos shown are pre-operative & 3 months post-operative.
Recovery: Generally, returning to work from 3 weeks (depending on role). Light exercise from 4 weeks and full recovery by 8 weeks.
Hours in Surgery: 3-4 hours.
Hospital stay: 2-4 nights.
Patient: 43 year old female with a pre-op weight loss of 20.8kg. 4cm Re**us Divarication repaired. Scars are still a bit pink, which is normal for 3 months post operative. They should settle and fade by the 12-month mark.
