Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest impact. 💛

Recently, our Supported Independent Living (SIL) client Cooper surprised fellow SIL clients Tim and Ross with a special delivery of homemade Yatala pies he had personally made at work.

The friendship began at a house BBQ hosted by one of our support workers, where Tim and Ross made a lasting impression on Cooper. Wanting to do something thoughtful for his new friends, Cooper put his skills to use and baked a batch of delicious pies to share.

It’s a wonderful example of the connections our clients make across our supported independent living homes and how friendships can continue to grow through simple acts of generosity.

Thank you, Cooper, for your kindness and for reminding us that meaningful friendships are built in the little moments. 🥧✨

🎉 Rooty Hill Day Program is TWO! 🎂

Two years of friendship, fun, new experiences and plenty of wonderful memories! 💙

The team and clients celebrated with a BBQ, cake, laughs and a little time in nature, reflecting on how far the program has come. A big thank you to the Rooty Hill team for everything you have put into the past two years and to all of our wonderful clients for being apart of the Eloma Community!

Our cooking program is always a favourite with our clients! From choosing recipes and preparing ingredients to creating something delicious together, there’s plenty of opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and have fun along the way. 👩‍🍳🥰

Our QLD SIL home recently hosted its very first Family BBQ, bringing Toby, Mike, Carson and their loved ones together for an afternoon of good food, great conversation and quality time. 🥰🍔

Our clients proudly helped prepare the BBQ and welcomed their families into their home, making it a beautiful celebration of connection, independence and belonging.

It was wonderful to see everyone sharing laughs, stories and special moments together. 🫶

Ross enjoyed a special family catch-up at Aspley 10 Pin Bowling Club, spending quality time with his three brothers and sister. 🎳☕🍟

Filled with laughs, stories, coffee and plenty of happy moments, it was a day Ross clearly loved! He enjoyed it so much that he's already hoping to make these family catch-ups a weekly tradition. 🥰
