Why do upper and lower teeth, instead of just the upper? Most patients show both rows of teeth when talking, laughing or smiling- in a ‘social smile’ like one from the old-school photo days you may not, however in life we don’t walk around like that. So having a smile with both rows harmonious in colour and style is nice. Having one row too white can clash, or having one row considerably different can be jarring. This patient wanted a brighter, whiter and more symmetrical smile. We did 12 upper and 12 lower porcelain veneers/veneerlays. A veneer covers the front of the tooth, and a veneerlay covers the front and top (esp for lower teeth so the biting surface isn’t yellow). We started building healthy foundations with gum work and you can see it paid dividends in how pink and healthy the gums are in the after photo about 6 weeks later. 📲 DM me to chat about your smile 😃
