This is actually a verruca (plantar wart) — caused by the HPV virus.

🦶 Why it hurts:
Instead of growing outward, it gets pushed inward from pressure when you walk.

🔍 Common signs:
• Pain when squeezing side-to-side
• Tiny black dots (clotted capillaries)
• Interrupts normal skin lines

✂️ Debridement helps reduce pressure and pain — but it’s not the full treatment.
