🇮🇹🤺 Blind Fencing is Going to Milan! 🇺🇸
USA Blind Fencing is excited to share information about the 6th International Blind Fencing Tournament “City of Milan,” taking place in Milan, Italy, on October 24, 2026!
Please note that USA Blind Fencing is not organizing or hosting this tournament. The event is being organized by Accademia Scherma Milano, in collaboration with Scherma Modica and under the patronage of the Italian Fencing Federation. We are sharing this opportunity with blind fencers and coaches who may be interested in participating.

📍 C.S. Giuriati Arena, Polytechnic University of Milan
🤺 Men’s Competition: 10:00 a.m.
🤺 Women’s Competition: 12:00 p.m.
🌎 Athletes from France, Spain, Sweden, Greece, the United States, Australia, Japan, and Italy are currently expected to participate!
Registration
The competition fee is €25, plus a €5 World Para Fencing athlete registration fee, for a total of €30 per athlete.
Additional payment and registration instructions will be provided by the organizers in the coming weeks.
An Important Step for Blind Fencing 🌎🤺
World Para Fencing has endorsed the event and will consider this tournament a pilot competition ahead of the final officialization of Blind Fencing.
Competition rules established by World Para Fencing and information regarding the medical documentation required for preliminary classification will be provided in the coming weeks.
A final alignment meeting is also being proposed for the morning of Sunday, October 25, at Accademia Scherma Milano for interested athletes, coaches, managers, and referees.
