Mpox is increasing in NSW. Usual symptoms include:
- rashes, pimple-like lesions or sores, particularly in areas that are hard to see such as the ge****ls, a**s or buttocks
- ulcers, lesions or sores in the mouth.

Gay, bis*xual, and other men who have s*x with men are recommended to be vaccinated against mpox and watch out for symptoms. See your GP or s*xual health clinic if you have symptoms and get vaccinated if you’re recommended to.
