Gynecomastia, or enlarged male breast tissue, is far more common than most men realise. It can develop at any age and has a range of causes, including hormonal changes, genetics, weight, and certain medications. For many men it’s a quiet source of self-consciousness, affecting how they feel at the beach, in the gym, or simply in a t-shirt.

The important thing to know is that it’s often treatable, and the right approach depends on what’s actually going on in the chest, which is why a proper assessment comes first.
Our technique addresses the three things that shape the result:

🔹 Liposuction to remove excess fatty tissue and refine the contour of the chest.
🔹 Gland removal to treat the firm glandular tissue that liposuction alone can’t shift. This is the part many men don’t realise needs to be removed directly.
🔹 Renuvion skin tightening, which uses radiofrequency energy and helium plasma to tighten the skin over the treated area. This can help the skin redrape more smoothly after the fat and gland are removed, and may reduce the need for larger skin-excision scars in suitable cases.

🍑 Buccal fat: the pocket that diet and cardio can't touch 🍑

"How do I lose the fat in my cheeks?" For many people, the honest answer is: you can't train or diet it away. Buccal fat pad sits deep in the cheek, cushioning the muscles you chew and speak with. It's structural, not lifestyle-related, and traditional liposuction can't safely reach it either.

Removing it is a genuinely delicate procedure; the fat pad sits right beside branches of the facial nerve, so precision and sound anatomical knowledge are essential. ⚠️

It's also not right for everyone. As we age, faces naturally lose volume, so removing more in someone already heading that way can age the face rather than refine it. And here's a useful clue: if your cheek fullness has changed noticeably with age, that's usually natural volume loss elsewhere in the face; not buccal fat, which stays fairly stable over time. I often see patients convinced they need "face liposuction" when what they're describing is simply this ageing process.

The right answer always starts with a proper assessment of your anatomy and where you sit on that ageing curve. 💬
