Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers in Australia, but the encouraging news is that it is **highly treatable when detected early**.

Through the **National Bowel Cancer Screening Program**, Australians aged **50–74** receive a free home screening kit in the mail every two years. The test is simple, can be done at home, and could potentially save your life.

Many people delay doing the test because they feel well or think it isn’t urgent — but screening is designed for people **without symptoms**. Detecting early changes can prevent cancer from developing or allow treatment at a much earlier stage.

If you have received your kit and haven’t completed it yet, this is a good time to do it.

🌟 Welcome Dr. Ketul Patel to Our Team! 🌟

We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Ketul Patel, a young and dynamic Australian-trained GP, to our practice! 🎉

Dr. Patel is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with experience working in rural NSW. He brings a holistic, patient-centred approach and has special interests in Chronic Disease Management, Preventative Health, and Men’s Health.

He has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program, and outside of medicine, he enjoys playing cricket and tennis. 🏏🎾
