Last Saturday, Wanda’s Education Team joined 180+ trainers and assessors at the SLS Sydney Pre-Season Professional Development Day at Little Bay.

It was a great opportunity to refresh skills, share knowledge and get ready for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

We’re now ready to roll out Skills Maintenance at Wanda and get our members set for another season of keeping our beaches safe.

Thank you to SLS Sydney and the team at Little Bay for a great day.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWEST IRB CREW & DRIVER!

New IRB Driver: Tim

A special shout-out to Oscar, who successfully completed the IRB Driver course but was just a touch too young to sit his assessment. Your time is coming - keep at it!

And of course, none of this happens without our incredible trainer, Adam New. Thank you for giving up your Sunday mornings to share your skills and expertise with the next generation of lifesavers. Legends like you are the backbone of our club.

Well done team - we’re proud of you all!
