Today we celebrated Aged Care Employee Day with a morning tea to thank our dedicated and compassionate staff at Bayswater Gardens, Bella Vista Gardens, Lansdowne Gardens and William Cape Gardens. Our residents also got involved by decorating and writing thoughtful thank you cards for staff.

We were thrilled to welcome Mike Dalton from 9 News to Bella Vista Gardens in Norwest today to feature the Laughter Care program. This program has been running weekly at all our residences and provides so many benefits for our residents.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is the United Nations designated day to voice our opposition to the abuse inflicted on older people, most commonly by their families.
Older people are essential to the fabric of our society.
As we all continue to live through COVID-19 and the transition into a ‘COVID normal’ environment, we need to continue to build community awareness of elder abuse to create the momentum for change and strengthen safeguards for vulnerable older people.
