💙 "I did it myself."

Recently, one of our participants enjoyed a trip to get a haircut and independently paid at the end of the appointment.

What may seem like a small moment to others can be a huge boost in confidence, independence, and self-belief.

A special thank you to the support worker who stood by their side—offering encouragement, guidance, and the space to do it independently. Sometimes, the best support isn't stepping in, but stepping back and letting someone shine.

Our Wire and Beads Art Day was filled with laughter, creativity, and proud little moments. ✨

Watching everyone focus, create, and bring their own ideas to life was such a beautiful reminder that art is more than just an activity. It’s confidence-building, self-expression, and a chance to connect with others in a fun and meaningful way.

At Sahara Services, our support workers love creating spaces where participants can feel encouraged, included, and free to explore their creativity at their own pace. And today’s amazing bead and wire creations were proof of just how talented everyone is.
