Had a wonderful time sampling the sushi at Sushi Sei by Kuon located on Little Hay Street in Darling Square.

Such an amazing assortment of fresh seafood masterfully fashioned into tiny edible works of art.

You so have to visit this place at least once if only for the experience.

It has been ages since I had a chance to eat at Belle’s, in my opinion one of the top 3 best fried chicken places in all of Sydney.

Their chicken plates come in different spice levels, but I always gravitate towards the original and top that off with a helping of crinkle fries and a drink of your choice and thats what I would call a meal.

You can find Belle’s in multiple locations but tried the one at Quay Quarter which has a nice view of the Harbour Bridge.

So if you are down for some fried chicken, then drop in to Belle’s Hot Chicken for your fix.

I was in the mood for some Chinese food recently for our regular weekly family eat out. We ended up going to Hurstville in Sydney and really didn’t have a plan apart from just walking around and finding some place that we’ve never been to before.

We all decided to try out Taste of Shandong, and it did not disappoint.

Everything we had was great, only thing was we wanted to try more of the menu, but was stuffed. So i’m definitely coming back.

Recently had lunch at Hai Au in Canley Vale coz someone told me that I needed to try their beef casserole with rice noodles.

I brought dad along, and as usual, he over ordered and ended up getting enough food to feed 3 people.

Aside from the yummy food, you get to experience the unique decor at this quaint local restaurant.

Will definitely be coming back to try the snails 😉

Hello all 👋 It has been a long time between posts.

This is me enjoying lunch at Mikazuki with my dad while on school holidays.

We started out meal with Tako Kara-age (fried marinated octopus) and a helping of salmon and tuna sashimi.

For our mains we had a Teriyaki Wagyu Beef Don and a Pork Katsu Curry Don.

It's starting to heat up, so what better than a tall millshake.

Not just any milkshake, a salted caramel milkshake with bacon bits.

I never thought I would utter those 6 words next to each other.

More Filipino food goodness, this time we are having Sisig from our good friends at Estelitas.

Its mainly pork bits and is usually seasoned with onions, chilli peppers, and calamansi all served on a sizzling hot plate.

Cool thing about this dish is you can have it however you want. I’ve had it with egg on top, with pork crackling, and i’ve even had a tuna version.

But the essence pretty much stays the same.

Yes it’s true. I have a thing for raw to semi-raw slices of fish.

I would blame mum and dad for my obsession, except for the fact that I do enjoy said slices of raw to semi-raw fish 😜
