From family members to bystanders, everyday Australians are being called on to become ‘F.A.S.T. heroes’ this National Stroke Week by learning to recognise the signs of stroke and acting quickly when stroke strikes.

F.A.S.T. highlights the three most common signs of stroke (Face drooping, Arm weakness, and Speech difficulty) and emphasises the importance of Time when it comes to recognising and treating a stroke. A stroke is always a medical emergency.

This year’s theme is F.A.S.T (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) heroes, recognising the people who spotted the signs of stroke and called an ambulance straight away, potentially saving a life.

Dr Ray brings:

✦ Several years of experience as a General Practitioner
✦ A strong background in paediatrics, having done some paediatric training prior to his postgraduate training in General Practice
✦ A caring, patient-centred approach to healthcare
✦ Expertise across all aspects of General Practice
✦ A special interest in chronic disease management, men's health, and paediatric medicine
✦ A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care for patients of all ages

We are thrilled to have Dr Ray join our team and are confident he will be a wonderful addition to our practice and the community we serve.
