A Lifetime of Study
My approach to remedial massage has been shaped by almost three decades of formal education and clinical practice. Rather than entering the health industry and treatment directly from university, I spent many years working with patients through manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and holistic health before undertaking my Remedial Massage and then chiropractic degree.
Each stage of my education contributed another layer of understanding:
Psychology introduced me to human behaviour and the relationship between mind and health.
Business studies provided the foundations for building a patient-centred healthcare practice.
Remedial massage therapy developed advanced manual therapy skills and a deep understanding of soft tissue dysfunction.
Personal training expanded my knowledge of movement, exercise prescription and rehabilitation.
Holistic kinesiology broadened my appreciation of the interconnected nature of physical and emotional health.
Chiropractic brought these disciplines together into an evidence-informed approach focused on diagnosis, treatment and long-term health.
