After nearly 15 years in clinic, I’ve noticed something interesting…

While every person is different, the reasons people come to see me are surprisingly consistent.

The five most common are:
✨ Stress & burnout
😴 Poor sleep
💪 Persistent pain
🌿 Digestive issues
🩸 Hormonal concerns

These symptoms might seem unrelated, but they’re often connected. Stress can affect sleep. Poor sleep can increase pain sensitivity. Digestive health can influence energy and hormones. That’s why I believe in looking at the bigger picture rather than focusing on a single symptom.

My goal is to help people better understand what their body is trying to tell them and support them with an individualised treatment plan.
If you’ve been dealing with one of these for a while and would like to explore a different approach, feel free to get in touch.🌺

One is a treat. Six is a treatment.

This is something I often say in clinic because it helps set realistic expectations.

One acupuncture session can feel wonderful. You might leave feeling more relaxed, sleep better that night, or notice some temporary relief from your symptoms. Think of it as giving your body a gentle nudge in the right direction.

But lasting change usually doesn’t happen from a single treatment.

That’s why I commonly recommend a treatment plan rather than a one-off appointment. Each session builds on the last, helping your nervous system regulate, reducing inflammation, improving circulation, and supporting your body’s natural healing processes. This is where the real progress happens.

Every person is different, so treatment plans are always tailored to your individual needs, goals, and how long you’ve been experiencing your symptoms. Some people improve quickly, while others need more time.

One treatment can help you feel better. A course of treatments can help you stay better.

Acupuncture works by encouraging your body to restore balance and function. Just as it often takes time for a problem to develop, it usually takes a series of treatments to create meaningful, lasting improvements.

One of the things I hear most often in clinic is:

“I know what I should be doing… I just don’t have enough hours in the day to do it all.”

And honestly, I get it.

These days it can feel like being healthy means cold plunges, supplements, meditation, journaling, meal prepping, 10,000 steps, strength training, yoga… the list just keeps growing.

The good news is that you don’t need to do everything.

If you consistently work on these four areas, you’ll be giving your body the biggest return on your effort:

😌 Manage your stress.
😴 Prioritise quality sleep.
🏃 Move your body regularly.
🥗 Eat mostly whole, nourishing foods.

That’s it.

These aren’t the most exciting health hacks, but they’re the ones that make the biggest difference. Nail the basics first, and everything else becomes much easier.

Health isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the right things consistently.

💬 I’d love to hear from you—which of these four do you find the hardest to stay consistent with?
