Something happened as I got closer to 40… my face started changing. 😂
And I was slightly offended, because after 20+ years in the beauty industry I was thinking, hang on,
I've looked after you my WHOLE adult life?! 😂
The bounce wasn't bouncing.
Things weren't quite as firm.
My skin just didn't recover the way it used to.
Now at 42, I've completely changed the way I think about ageing.
For the last two years I've stopped looking at ageing as something I can tackle with skincare alone. I've become a little obsessed with ageing well from the inside out.
I've focused on supporting my body against oxidative stress.
I've worked on my metabolic health.
I've prioritised my gut health.
And I've become VERY serious about supporting my collagen. 💜
Because collagen is part of the structural framework that gives our skin its firmness, strength and bounce and as we age, our ability to produce and maintain it declines.
Add UV exposure and oxidative stress into the mix and suddenly those changes we start noticing in the mirror make a whole lot more sense.
And this is where I think beauty gets REALLY interesting.
Instead of only asking, “What can I put on my skin?” I'm asking:
“What can I do to support the body that's building the skin?”
That's why Collagen+ has become part of my everyday routine, alongside the other things I do to support my health from within.
And then, of course, I still work from the outside too because you will have to pry my LumiSpa from my cold dead hands. 😂

I'm not interested in being 22 again.
I'm 42 and a bit 😉 and I want to see what happens when I give my body the tools it needs to age as bloody well as it possibly can.
Inside + outside. Health + skin.
That's my version of ageing backwards. 💜✨
