World Assistive Technology Day is an opportunity to highlight the role that assistive technology (AT) plays in supporting an individual's life. It's a moment to recognise the individuals who use AT as well as the families, carers and clinicians who make access possible.

Assistive Technology is an umbrella term for assistive products and their related services. While it continues to grow, access to the proper solution is essential for independence, and quality of life for all abilities. AT can make a meaningful difference in how someone functions and connects with their community, therefore, continued improvements and evolution of technology is vital so ensure no one is left behind.

The right equipment can change how people engage with the world around them. Our team is committed to helping each person find the right solution for their needs - empowering greater independence and participation every day.

Quick Facts:
- More than 2.5billion people need one or more assistive products
- An estimated 3.5 billion people will need assistive technology by 2050
- Most people who are in need of assistive technology do not have access to it

Reflecting on Brisbane ATSA 💚

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to exhibit at Brisbane ATSA this year. Being part of such a meaningful event—and having the resources to do so—is something we truly don’t take for granted.

A heartfelt thank you to our Queensland and Sydney teams, whose dedication, long hours, and collaboration brought everything together seamlessly. Your effort behind the scenes made a real impact.

ATSA 2026 has been nothing short of a fulfilling experience. From reconnecting with familiar faces to building new relationships, these few days have been all about meaningful conversations, shared knowledge, and strengthening our community.

We feel incredibly lucky to do what we do.
