Recently a few people have messaged me as they’ve noticed that I haven’t been posting on social media.

Thanks for your concern. The reason that I’ve disappeared from SM is that I have made a slight career change and have returned to working in retail Pharmacy, which was my first love.

Life is good, just very full at the moment with no time for social media.

I am still seeing Hypnotherapy clients around my work shifts so please reach out to book sessions with me.

What an awesome way for me to spend my birthday.

Joining my daughter in a Breathwork workshop with Wim Hof (The Iceman- climbed Mount Everest in a pair of shorts), riding the Ferris wheel (the workshop was at Luna Park so we took advantage) and then having dinner with my son and daughter.

This birthday will be a tough one to beat in the future.

Recently at the BNI Regional Awards ceremony, I was honoured to receive an award for Best Growth Member.

Networking is definitely a key to the success of my Hypnotherapy business so joining the business networking group, BNI Business Excellence was a very wise decision on my part.

When I joined, one year ago, I decided that I’d make my membership worthwhile by putting in plenty of time and effort and it has certainly paid off.

It’s like anything in life, the more you put into it the more you get out of it.

I’ve loved being part of this very inspiring, motivating and supportive network.

Have you ever heard anyone say: “Don’t waste time “,” time is precious”, “use your time wisely”, or” time is the currency of life”?

In some religions, it’s frowned upon to waste time and it’s encouraged to work until you no longer can, retirement isn’t encouraged. As Jim Kwik says: “When you retire early you die early.”

Here's a great reminder to make every second of your day count:

Imagine that there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day.

What would you do? Draw out every cent of course.

Each of us has such a bank and its name is TIME.

Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds and every night it writes off whatever you failed to use productively during the day. It carries over no balance and it allows no overdraft.

Each day it opens a new account for you and each night it destroys the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits the loss is yours.

THERE IS NO GOING BACK.

There is no drawing against the “tomorrow.” You must live in the present on today's deposits.

Invest in it so that you can get from it the maximum in health, joy and fulfilment.

THE CLOCK IS RUNNING - MAKE THE MOST OF TODAY.

Treasure every second that you have and remember that time waits for no one.

After living in the same area for a number of years and walking my dog a few times a day, I see the same familiar faces going for their morning run, walking their dogs or just getting outdoors for some fresh air.

Recently I decided to make the effort to learn some of their names.

I’ve noticed that that simple gesture of taking an interest in someone has changed everything.

Now when I see them, we greet each other by name which invariably leads to a conversation about their day and what they have planned.

It’s such a lovely way to brighten my day and theirs.

Our interactions have become more personal and meaningful because I showed an interest in them.

Whose name can you learn so that you can connect with them on a different level and brighten up their day?

At the beginning of each year, I like to choose a word that runs almost like a theme throughout my life for that year.

Last year I chose BELIEVE and although I’m not ready to let go of that yet, this year I’m going to add ABUNDANCE to my life.

Abundance can come in many forms.

What is abundance to me?

Abundance is a good thing and I am worthy of it.

Abundance is much more than having lots of money or lots of things.

Abundance is having good friends, meaningful relationships, quiet inner peace with strength and spiritual growth.

I welcome abundance with joy and acceptance.

To attract abundance, I find meaning and joy in the work that I do, my activities and my service to others.

To attract abundance, I open my doors wide when opportunities come knocking and I welcome them with open arms.

I open the door to joy and laughter.

I open the door to the new me that attracts abundance in all areas of my life.

The most hypnotic hypno-spiral.

Instructions for use: Stare at the most hypnotic hypno-spiral.
1. Imagine that you are hypnotised. Really imagine it, like it was completely true.
2. Continue to imagine that you are hypnotised and also imagine that there's nothing you can do about it, that it's happened all by itself, that you're not even aware that you are imagining it.
3. Imagine something hypnotic is happening, like your hand is immobile or that you are stuck to your chair. Continue to imagine that and also imagine that you are unaware that you are imagining it.
4. To end, simply become aware that you are imagining all the effects and that you can stop imagining them anytime you like. *Stop imagining them now. *
5. Look away from the most hypnotic hypno-spiral. Feel wonderful.
