Hi everyone. Talofa lava!! I have been part of the Interplast program to the beautiful country of for the past 14 years. It is the highlight of my year, every year. I get to work with an amazing team - Benjamin Norris Mary-Jane Laing Alan Goodey Norma Schwalger Katie Anjou and others. Even more of an honour, I get to meet and treat children with cleft lips and palates, burns, various congenital deformities and tumours at the TTM Hospital in . The local Samoan doctors and nurses are amazing - and have become friends over the years. Last year, a local Samoan surgical trainee Dr Mayday Fanueli performed the first two cleft lip repairs by a Samoan (I held the retractors and cheered). If you can, please support the Interplast Program to Samoa for 2025. There are no plastic surgeons in Samoa. If the program doesn't proceed, these children will not have the treatment they need.
