Create your Relationship Roadmap ❤️

A relationship is made up of so many different parts of life - and sometimes we don’t stop to talk about all of them.

Our Relationship Education workbook helps you and your partner explore the areas that shape your life together, from career and family to intimacy, finances, lifestyle and your future goals.

It’s an opportunity to reflect on where you’re aligned, where you might have different needs or expectations, and what you want to build together.

Because creating a fulfilling relationship is about more than solving problems - it’s about intentionally creating a life that works for both of you.

Relationships don’t come with an instruction manual.

Even when we love someone deeply, we can still struggle with communication, conflict, emotional reactions and feeling truly understood.

The good news? These are skills we can learn.

Understanding your patterns, learning to communicate differently and creating more space for vulnerability can make a meaningful difference to how you connect with each other.

And you don’t have to wait until your relationship is in crisis to seek support. Relationship education and couples counselling can be valuable at any stage.

S*x and intimacy can be difficult to talk about — but you don't have to navigate concerns on your own ❤️

S*x therapy can help with a wide range of concerns, including:

• Low desire or a s*xless relationship
• Mismatched libidos
• Difficulty reaching or**sm
• Pain during s*x
• Erectile difficulties and performance anxiety
• Po*******hy or compulsive s*xual behaviours
• Intimacy and communication difficulties
• Preparing for marriage and building a healthy s*xual relationship

S*x therapy isn't just for when something is "wrong". It can also be a space to better understand yourself and your partner, improve communication and build a more connected and fulfilling intimate life.

At My Appletree, we provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for individuals and couples to talk openly about s*xual health and intimacy.

Read our latest blog to learn more about how s*x therapy may help, and the common concerns that people experience.

How are you really doing? 💚

As psychologists, we often encourage people to check in with their mental health before things reach a crisis point.

Ask yourself:

Are you feeling more overwhelmed, anxious, irritable or flat than usual?
Have your sleep, motivation or concentration changed?
Are you withdrawing from the people around you?
Are things that usually feel manageable starting to feel harder?

These changes don't necessarily mean something is wrong, but they can be signs that it's time to pause and pay attention to what you need.

Looking after your mental health isn't just about managing a crisis. It's also about recognising when you're not quite feeling like yourself and seeking support when you need it.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes, the first step is simply talking to someone 🌱

Our Better Together Relationships website is back - with a fresh new look and the same focus on helping couples build stronger relationships ❤️

We believe relationship support shouldn't only happen when things are going wrong.

Sometimes, the best time to invest in your relationship is when you're already doing well - before communication becomes difficult, resentment builds or small issues turn into bigger ones.

Better Together Relationships is our 3-session relationship education program designed to help couples better understand each other, strengthen communication, navigate differences and build a stronger foundation for the future.

Whether you're newly together, getting married, moving in together or simply wanting to invest in your relationship, you don't need to wait for a problem to start learning the skills that help relationships thrive.

Our next four-week meditation series, Opening to Change, invites you to explore what keeps you stuck, understand your patterns and take small, values-based steps towards change.

Across the series, we’ll explore:

✨ The Comfort Zone — Thursday 27th August
Why familiarity can feel safer than change, even when it no longer serves us.

✨ What Keeps Us Stuck — Thursday 3rd September
Exploring limiting self-beliefs and the stories that can hold us back.

✨ Moving Through Uncertainty — Thursday 10th September
Understanding the space between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming, and exploring your window of tolerance.

✨ The Homecoming of Courage — Thursday 17th September
Reconnecting with your inner courage and learning to move with fear rather than freeze in it.

Because growth doesn’t mean eliminating discomfort. It means becoming more comfortable with being uncomfortable.

We're having relationship problems… where do we start?

Many couples assume that relationship support only begins when things feel really difficult. But support can look different depending on what your relationship needs right now.

For some couples, relationship education is a great first step. It’s an opportunity to learn more about how relationships work, build practical skills, improve communication, and strengthen your connection before challenges become more difficult.

For other couples, couples counselling may be the right next step. If you feel stuck in the same patterns, struggle to resolve conflict, or feel disconnected from each other, counselling can help you explore the deeper dynamics affecting your relationship.

Both options can help couples grow - they simply support different stages of the relationship journey.

Whether you’re wanting to be proactive and invest in your relationship, or you’re looking for support through a challenging time, taking that first step can make a meaningful difference 💚
