There are 200,000 nerve endings in the feet, there to read the nuances of gravity, to locomote us through this and that, and to ongoingly evolve us through the felt language of yoga.

Yet we've somehow accepted PVC, TPE and petro-based yoga mats into the sacred space of its practice.

Our Origin is a planet-wide celebration and call to action uniting millions in a synchronized moment led with Indigenous wisdom, live gatherings on every continent, and a shared global broadcast. It begins with First Nations Elders in Aotearoa, the first land to meet the sun, with a prayer for Mother Earth that travels like a wave across every ocean and continent.

Yoga is the living bridge. Between the prayer and the action. Between the intention and the ground.

At the heart of the moment is Touch the Earth — a simple, universal sequence : forehead and ears to the ground: listening, receiving. Heart and hands to the ground: feeling, committing. Then rising into Tadasana as a conduit between heaven and earth, speaking three words that are your vision for a new world.

Three hundred million people practise yoga worldwide: a living, breathing, interconnected network spanning every continent, culture and generation. We already know how to synchronise breath and intention. Origin simply asks us to do it at the scale of the planet.
