Our Ambassador Leaders program has been named a 2026 Finalist for Community Inclusion Program of the Year in the Kismet Awards for Health + Disability Services. We're so proud of our young leaders, who show up, speak up and help others feel included every day. 💛

Turning passion into purpose. 🐾✨

Our Animal Care Employment Pathways program had the opportunity to learn from a special guest, Bowie. She is the founder of Luna Bites, a healthy dog treat business and one of our very own Co-Hivers, as she shared her inspiring journey from passion to entrepreneurship.

During the session, Bowie shared insights on:
• How she turned her love for animals into Luna Bites
• Building a brand from the ground up
• Developing and refining products
• Packaging, pricing, and budgeting essentials
• Promoting a business through marketing and social media

We’re incredibly proud to see Bowie turning her passion for animals into a thriving business and giving back by sharing her experience with fellow Co-Hivers. 💛

Cooking, learning, and sharing meals together. 🍽️💛

Co-Eats is Co-Hive’s cooking and independent living skills program, helping young adults with mild disability build confidence, kitchen skills, and greater independence through hands-on learning.

From kitchen hygiene, fire safety, and meal planning to exploring global cuisines and recipe reading, participants learn the theory behind cooking before bringing their knowledge to life in the kitchen. Along the way, they create delicious dishes, develop teamwork and communication skills, and gain confidence in preparing meals independently.

At Co-Eats, every recipe is more than just a meal—it’s an opportunity to build real-world life skills that support greater independence.
