When I qualified as a Beauty Therapist back in 2003, I never imagined I’d still be learning 23 years later.

But that’s one of the things I love about this industry.

Things change. Science evolves. Our understanding of the skin continues to grow and if we’re serious about looking after our clients’ skin, we need to keep learning too. 🧠🌿

One of the things I particularly love about working with Dermaviduals is the quality of their education.

And there’s one person who really stands out for me — Lisa

She has such a depth of knowledge and a genuine passion for education, and I could happily sit and listen to her talk about skin science all day. 😂

But it’s not just what she knows.

She’s also a genuinely wonderful human, and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to call her a friend. 🤍

23 years in… and I’m still curious. Still learning. Still fascinated by skin.

And honestly?

I hope that never changes. ✨

Sometimes my best ideas — and my best work — happen in silence. 🤍

There’s something about quiet that allows me to completely get into the zone and be fully present with the skin, the treatment and the person in front of me.

So if what you need when you walk through my door is 60 minutes of beautiful, uninterrupted silence… ask for it.

You won’t offend me. Promise. 😂

You don’t have to make conversation.
You don’t have to keep me entertained.
You don’t even have to stay awake. 😴

Sometimes the most nurturing part of a facial is simply being able to switch off and let someone else take care of you.

So consider this your official permission:

“Tanya, I’d like a silent treatment today.”

And I’ll know exactly what you mean. 🌿✨

It’s the long weekend, and we’ve decided it’s time to press pause for a few days.

We’re taking some much-needed time out with family, recharging the batteries and enjoying a little breathing space before the silly season kicks off! ✨🎄

A little makeover magic ✨

This client came in ready for a makeover, and her brows were definitely overdue some love!

We reshaped and refined the brows to create a more balanced, defined shape — but we didn’t stop there.

We also worked on the skin, and the difference is beautifully visible. ✨

Look closely at the vibrancy, luminosity and texture of the skin between the before and after.

It’s a reminder that a great skin makeover isn’t always about doing more — sometimes it’s about taking the time to bring what’s already there back to life.

Brows + skin health = a whole-face transformation. 🤎
