Jon was in his happy place during a recent outing, spending the day at Panthers Penrith.

He had plenty of time to look around, check out the Panthers gear and memorabilia, and enjoy being somewhere he knows and loves.

Before heading home, Jon treated himself to a new pink Panthers jersey to finish off the day.

Getting loud for Loud Shirt Day 👕

Today, participants and team members came together for a colourful morning tea to mark Loud Shirt Day.

There were plenty of bright shirts on display, a few laughs and a chance to spend some time together while supporting an important cause.

Loud Shirt Day raises awareness and support for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. October is also AAC Awareness Month, recognising the many different ways people communicate and express themselves.

Thanks to everyone who joined in and helped make the morning a little brighter.

This week is National Carers Week. Carers Week is a time to recognise the important role carers play and the support available to them.

Wellways Carer Gateway is hosting the WE CARE PROJECT Hawkesbury Open Day this Thursday to celebrate - bringing together local organisations, creative activities and information about services available to carers and families.

For Tim, home is a quiet neighbourhood, friendly neighbours and a place to unwind with a history documentary after work.

He’s called Elizabeth Street home since 2020, with support from McCall. His week is filled with things that matter to him: a job he’s proud of, time with family, trips to the movies and getting around independently.

Next on his list? Building his cooking skills.

Being heard is only the beginning.

This World Mental Health Day, the focus is on what happens after people share their experiences. Are they included in decisions? Do they have opportunities to shape services? Is their knowledge treated as expertise?

Meaningful involvement means giving people a genuine say in the decisions that affect their lives, from the support they receive to the way services are designed and delivered.

For McCall, that reflects something important: support should be shaped around the person, their choices and what living well looks like for them.

Real voices should have real influence.

Proud to support the All In Gala again in 2026 🎉

McCall is pleased to once again sponsor the All In Gala, returning on 14 November at Wests League Club in Leumeah.

The All In Gala brings people with disability, families, carers and support workers together for a formal night out with dinner, entertainment, music and plenty of time on the dance floor. It’s always a fantastic night celebrating inclusion, connection and people coming together, and we’re looking forward to being part of it again this year.
