At some point in time, you were told that the feelings in your body were too much and to just ignore them.
Yes, it will be smart to put the phone away and focus in on your own little world for a little bit, but what if, when you focus on your own little world, you're actually not happy in the environment that you're in?
Society tells you a cover model is small, and beauty is small. It's funny how baggy clothes are often marketed on small women.
Then we wonder why we push out having our first meal so we can work harder at the job we don't even like, to buy the clothes to impress people who don't even like us, and starve ourselves to fit in to said clothing.
When we finally end the day, we can't even face ourselves, so it's much easier to get lost in the deep abyss that is your reels, shorts, and TikToks.
There is a little girl inside of you (or boy) who has been told to just shut up, "I'm still working," and told her needs are too much, so over time we quashed them down, and we wonder why our body gives us all of these symptoms and aches and pains.
Health and fitness is far deeper than just looking "better" and feeling more confident in your own skin.
It's actually about making those deposits back to fill your cup up
if she's telling you, "Hey, I'm hungry", maybe it's a sign you should have a proper meal.
If she's telling you, "Hey, I'm tired", maybe it's a sign you should put the phone away.
