Strength that became a prison… Somewhere along the way, you learned that if you didn’t carry it, no one would. Maybe it was your family. Maybe it was just you, figuring out how to survive.
So you got good at it and good enough that people stopped asking if you’re okay. They just assume you’re fine, because you always are.
But the strength you built to protect yourself is the same thing keeping you from resting. From asking for help. From letting anyone close enough to see you struggle.
It’s not weakness that’s the problem. It’s the strength that never learned how to put itself down.
