There is something deeply beautiful about remembering that healing traditions existed long before modern medicine gave us the language to describe them.
Across cultures and generations, our ancestors understood the importance of working with the whole person, body, mind, spirit, breath and the subtle forces of life.
Reiki is a Japanese energy-based practice that grew from this understanding of life force energy. While modern science is still exploring how and why practices like Reiki may influence our experience of wellbeing, research continues to investigate energy healing as a complementary approach. ✨
Science can measure some of what happens within the body, our nervous system, our breathing, our heart rate and our physiological responses.
But there is still much we are learning about the relationship between our physical body, our inner experience and the subtle aspects of wellbeing.
Perhaps our ancestors understood something we are only beginning to explore again.
That we are more than just a physical body. That stillness matters. That connection matters.
That being witnessed and held in a safe space matters.
Reiki offers an invitation to slow down, turn inward and reconnect with yourself, honouring an ancient human desire to find balance, presence and harmony within ✨
