Baby Development “hacks” that you’ve probably never heard

(Spoiler: there’s no secret formula locked away in a Baby Sensory vault. It’s a combination of repetition and sensory experiences that support development...as well as periods of dedicated one-on-one play.  We just make it easy for you every week- and bring a few things you simply can’t do at home!)

Swipe through for the stuff that actually matters:
• Less help, more struggle (the good kind)
• Boring moments aren’t wasted moments
• Repetition- again and again and again!
• A little frustration builds perseverance
• Sometimes LESS is more
• You can absolutely be the best toy in the room

It’s not about doing more and filling every moment with activities and new experiences.
It’s about giving your baby the freedom to work things out for themselves, to develop imagination and trusting that sometimes “nothing” is exactly what their brain needs.

Did any of these surprise you?

💙 Is your toddler looked after by their grandparents, a loved one or a nanny during the week? 💙 Send this post to them and see if this is something they’d love to do!

I’d love to welcome them along to Toddler Sense!

I know how special those days spent with grandparents or another loved one can be, and sometimes it’s nice to have something planned that gets everyone out of the house and gives your little one something to look forward to! 🥰

That’s where Toddler Sense comes in!

Each week we go on a completely different adventure, with lots of opportunities to play, explore, dance, laugh and make some lovely memories together.

And the best part? It’s just as much fun for the grown-ups as it is for the toddlers! 💙

Our classes are for little ones aged 13 months to 3.5 years, and grandparents, nannies and other carers are always welcome.

📍 Eastlakes – 6 Westcott Street
📅 Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays

If you have someone special looking after your toddler during the week, why not send them along to join us?

I’d absolutely love to see some new little faces in class this term! 💙
