Australian Asian Association of Dentists

Become a member of AAAD and be part of the social and informative CPD dinners we provide during the year. All those in the dental profession welcome!

Welcome to the Australian Asian Association of Dentists! Since established in 1994, we have been committed to providing entertaining and educational dinners for dental health professionals, including Dental Specialists, Dentists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants and Dental Reps. Although our association was founded with members from largely Asian heritage, we very much welcome everyone from all races, colours, religions and qualifications. We hold at least 3 dental CPD credited dinners a year, including a lavish seafood banquet and unlimited drinks, held in the Sydney CBD. We ensure to cover different dental interests and specialty fields throughout the year with our generous repertoire of dental specialists. Our distinguished speakers provide informative, contemporary lectures and are approachable throughout the night for further questions. The biggest night of the year however is saved for the much anticipated Christmas party. Packed of full of entertainment, music, food, drinks and door prizes, it is a social night that cannot be missed! Currently with over 100 members, we are sure you will already know at least one person attending these dinners. By the end of the night, you will know at least your whole dinner table of 10 and it will continue to grow the more dinners your attend. If you are interested in becoming a member ($297/year), attending one of the dinners ($99/dinner) or simply for more information, please contact us and one of our committee members will attend to it asap:

How often do you get a routine implant case??

Not often enough, right? Why not follow the footsteps of your fellow dentists and elevate your practice to the next level this coming September. Join us for an intensive 4-day Advanced Implant Surgery GBR cadaver program hosted at the world class Macquarie University Surgical Skills Centre. This program is designed to equip practitioners with the knowledge and skill to manage the more challenging cases requiring hard and soft tissue grafting (Guided Bone Regeneration). All these will be done under the guidance of a highly experienced multi-disciplinary faculty firstly in simulated clinical technique sessions before applying the acquired knowledge in fresh frozen cadaver sessions (where mistakes can be made without consequences!) so that you can learn how to fix them and better still….to avoid them in real life!

You will receive personalized guidance tailored to your own experience level and learning objectives with a strong focus on long term clinically proven techniques.

Past attendees include oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, experienced GP’s as well as endodontists speaks for the caliber of this program.

Please refer to the attached brochure for details and the link below for registration

Oh PS....AAAD financial members will automatically receive 10% discount off the registration fee.....how good is that !!!
So join up if you have not already done so but hurry before the course is fully subscribed.

What a fantastic night it was last Wednesday 🤩
We wrapped up 2025 in style with an incredible lecture by Dr Michael Mandikos 🦷✈️ who flew in from Brisbane just to share his wisdom on treatment options for the lateral incisor 🦷✨

The talk was super engaging, packed with pearls, and everyone loved it 💡👏
Massive thanks to all our amazing AAAD members who came and supported throughout the year 🙏💙

And of course, a big shout-out to our Loyal Sponsors who make these events possible all year round 🙌💼
Special thanks to Dr Derek Mahony for generously sponsoring the delicious wines 🍷 from Mahony Estate — everyone absolutely loved them! 😋🍇

🎄✨ From all of us at the AAAD Executive Team —
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! 🎅🎁💫
See you all next year for another amazing year of learning, laughter, and friendship! 🦷❤️🥂
