Being apart of community is something close to the heart of our CEO Kara and tonight she was invited to support local charity Camden Women's Shelter Blue Wren House at their 'Honouring Her' Gala. Lots of familiar faces, lots of money raised for a cause that is all to prevalent in today's society.

Speed painter Brad Blaze and Olympian Melissa Wu raised money, awareness and entertainment for the captivated attendees.

This will really impact our participants.
But we are ready to navigate this change alongside all participants of the NDIS. We will continue to advocate for change, to value what disability support truly is.

From 1 October 2026, some NDIS support budgets will be changed.

These changes will affect budgets for:
🔹 social, economic and community participation supports
🔹 improved daily living skills supports.

These changes will be introduced over 12 months. They will be applied as plans are created or reassessed from 1 October 2026 or renewed from 1 February 2027.

Participants will be notified ahead of their plan reassessment or renewal. Participants can continue using their current plan and supports until their plan is reassessed or renewed. If you have high support needs, you might be able to ask us to vary your plan.

If you’re the person everyone calls when something goes wrong, it can be hard to remember that you’re allowed to need support too.

Supporting someone you love doesn’t mean you have to know what to do every time. Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is say, “I need some help with this.”

There is no medal for doing it all alone. Let us support you.

A plan tells us what support is funded. It doesn’t tell us who someone is. We don’t want people reduced to a diagnosis, a funding category, a number of hours or a stack of paperwork.

we want to know the person behind it all.
- What matters to them.
- What makes them laugh.
- What they want to achieve.
- What a good life looks like to them.
Because the NDIS might be part of someone’s life, but it is never the whole of it. 💙
