Home Care Package (HCP)
The Home Care Packages Program supports older people with complex needs to stay at home. Approved aged care service providers work with care recipients to plan, organise, and deliver Home Care Packages.
Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
Under the new aged care reforms, the Australian Government has decided that everyone should contribute to the cost of their care if they’re able. A small portion of the hourly rate is charged to you and the larger portion is subsidised through the CHSP. However, in cases of financial hardship, the service fee can be reduced to ensure anyone who needs support can access it.
