🟢🔵ATMS HEALTHY BRAIN SYMPOSIUM🟢🔵 30th August 2025 ~ Sydney Hilton 🟢🔵

Yesterday I attended the ATMS Healthy Brain Symposium held at the Sydney Hilton which was led by six key speakers renowned in integrative health in Australia. Among the six speakers was neuroscientist Dr Sarah McKay and Dr Marc Cohen.
I was very privileged to meet four of the six speakers including Jo Grabyn, a Nutritional Medicine Practitioner who optimises brain health for patients with dementia or cognitive issues.
Megan Wilks, founder of the 'Vitalogy Project' who shared a beacon of knowledge on neuro-anti inflammatory flavonoids and the link between neuro-inflammatory and brain health.
Dr Adrian Lopresti, Clinical Psychologist and Managing Director at Clinical Research Australia, speaking about the connection between sleep, mental health and cognitive function and how integrative and holistic strategies are so beneficial to implement for restoring sleep and mental wellbeing.
Specialist Geriatrician Dr Mark Hohenberg from the research team at Western Sydney University's National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM), with published research validating complementary medicine in dementia and pre-dementia.
Specialist Dr Hohenberg's session on dementia offered a wealth of knowledge about the latest research and global best practice as well as valuable insights into both pharmacological and non-pharmacoligical approaches to cognitive health.

The information provided by all six expert speakers in their respective fields of integrative medicine was invaluable for me as a practitioner, to help deepen my knowledge and be better able to help my clients living with dementia, mental health issues or cognitive decline🌿

It was a very enlightening, educative and indispenable event for therapists who work with clients living with lipoedema. To my left and right, I had the priviledge of meeting five of Australia's leading experts in the Lipoedema field including, Tamryn Riemann, Kimmi Katte, Vanessa Ereaux, Lisa Higgins and Shannon Chandler.
I also bumped into friend and fellow therapist, Amy Tyler from 'Institude of Oncology Massage' who was one of the sponsors of this wonderful and essential event 🌿🔵🟢
