An incredible few days in Dallas with Dr Jay Burns ā world-renowned plastic surgeon and one of the leading experts in transformational laser resurfacing.
Renee and I had the privilege of spending time immersed in his advanced approach, surrounded by his amazing clinical team, who were incredibly generous in sharing their knowledge, experience and practical insights with us throughout our visit.
We focused on some of the most challenging areas we treat ā under-eye skin laxity and wrinkles, perioral lines and deeply etched photodamage ā while exploring how advanced Sciton laser and IPL technologies can be combined and blended seamlessly across the face, neck and dĆ©colletage.
From deeper Contour TRL resurfacing and ProFractional treatments through to Halo TriBrid, BBL and MOXI, the real learning was in how different modalities, depths and treatment zones can be integrated strategically to create transformational yet cohesive results.
What stood out most was the precision of the treatment planning ā moving beyond treating a single concern or area and instead thinking about how every component of the resurfacing plan works together.
A huge amount of knowledge to bring home, refine and integrate into our resurfacing protocols at MUSE. Very grateful to Dr Burns and his wonderful team for their generosity, expertise and openness in sharing decades of experience with us.
