WHAT STORY ARE YOU TELLING YOURSELF? 🧐

The way we talk to ourselves matters, massively. Sometimes we aren’t even aware of it. But today I want to get you thinking about your thinking. Think about what story you tell yourself when you see a situation. Are you using a lens? Is the story true, evidence based and factual? Or is it, simply a story. 🧠💭⁉️

Over to you, to investigate 🔬

Thinking about our thinking 🧠🧐A tip on thinking traps we can use to tell ourselves a story that might be just that, a story. Fiction, not fact.

Reframing, can bring logic, calmness and facts to situations. Here’s a tip to learn how to do this if you (or someone you know) tends to fall into the trap of overgeneralisation. Hope it helps!

When was the last time you stopped to take a balcony view of yourself? Sometimes the greatest insight comes from moments of pause where we give ourselves permission to stop and reflect.

Ever feel like something isn’t quite right? Things look fine, but you feel the overwhelm, the juggling act is real and you feel off.

On paper, work is okay, life is okay. But you are tired.

Usually it’s not one big problem, but it’s an imbalance between different areas of your life. We often spend time doing what we feel we should, not what we want to do. Eventually this impacts us.

There is one simple tool, I use for myself and with my clients to help assess balance and how things are going.

If you want it, comment ‘WHEEL’ and I’ll send it to you. 💕🙌

I love the messages Susan David shares, particularly around how to be emotionally honest in an authentic way. This is such a power message to help share how we feel without anger and shame.

Being authentic doesn't mean stewing in anger or sadness all the time. Instead, it's about the ability to be real, to show up to yourself and your community with emotional honesty. It's about recognizing the shared humanity that exists in our ability to feel a whole range of emotions.

Goal for today: tell someone how you truly feel, and ask them to be honest with you about how they feel. What do you discover?

This is perfect. A small child, tween or friend. A good book shares so much.
