Support & education for women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Diamond Women is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of compassionate and caring individuals that seek to provide help and support to women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. DPS offers practical assistance in the way of baby and maternity goods, emotional and spiritual support through counselling and group classes to train and equip women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. Through a network of community service organisations we are able to connect our clients to organisations that assist in meeting their medium and long term goals. Diamond Women provides for the relief of anxiety and distress faced by women surrounding an unplanned pregnancy by meeting their immediate and long term needs. Diamond Women works with women, their partners and families to provide long term solutions in the best interest of both themselves and their unborn child. We at Diamond Women believe that every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves support, respect, kindness, compassion and care.

Today we remember every pregnancy and baby lost. 🕯️

Grief after pregnancy loss looks different for every woman. For some it’s a miscarriage or a stillbirth. For others it’s a loss that happened years ago, or one they’ve never felt able to say out loud.

At Diamond Women, around 41% of the women who come to us are carrying grief from a pregnancy that ended. Many have told no one. Many arrive years later, still carrying it quietly.

If that’s you, there is no timeline and nothing you need to explain. You will be met with compassion, never judgment. 💛

5 years ago, we didn't have complete wraparound programs like EmployHer, and our counselling hours were capped.
Today, we're supporting women through unplanned pregnancy and into employment pathways, and we can see as many women as need us.

She didn't plan for this. But she still deserves to be met with compassion, not a checklist.

When a woman comes to us facing an unplanned pregnancy, she's often carrying more than the pregnancy itself: fear, family pressure, financial stress, a future that suddenly feels uncertain.

We've learned that support isn't about swooping in with instant answers. Sometimes it's simply being present and listening without judgment, helping her think through what comes next, one step at a time.

For some women, that looks like counselling. For others, mentoring, grief support, or practical help like employment coaching. Because no two situations and no two women are the same.

This spring, we want every woman who reaches out to find exactly that: not just a service, but a village standing with her.

423 times, someone reached out. And someone was there. 🤍

Behind every number is a woman who didn't have to face an unplanned pregnancy alone.

423 conversations. 167 counselling bookings. 63% of women left with an active next step forward.

For some, one conversation became weeks of ongoing support: a listening ear, a plan, a hand to hold through the hardest and most uncertain moments of their lives.

At Diamond Women, we believe our pregnant clients deserve to feel comfortable, cared for and welcome from the moment they walk through our doors. ❤️

So, naturally, we had to put our chairs to the test. 😂🪑

Because pregnancy can come with enough aches, discomfort, and adjustments, the last thing you need is an uncomfortable chair!

It might seem like a small thing, but it’s all part of creating a space where women feel supported and looked after.

Happy Father's Day.

To every dad who shows up before he feels ready. Who doesn't have it all figured out, and shows up anyway. Who asks for help when he needs it, and lets that be enough.

This Father's Day, we shared Ty's story the fear, the doubt, the slow realisation that he wasn't in it alone. We saw other men that showed what presence really looks like, in all its imperfect, ordinary forms.

Thank you to everyone who watched, shared, and gave over the past two weeks. Because of you, more men facing an unexpected pregnancy will have someone by their side, too.

Presence, not perfection. That's what fatherhood and Fathers for Fathers has always been about.
