Please join us in congratulating Dr Susannah Hallal, who has been awarded the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’s 2025 Guardian Trust Early Career Fellowship. This is an outstanding achievement and recognition of Susannah’s commitment to improving outcomes for GBM patients.

This grant, valued at $575,000 across 5 years, will enable Dr Hallal to continue advancing her research which focuses on glioblastoma (GBM) molecular patterns, or ‘fingerprints’ that detect GBM recurrence with near-perfect accuracy. Dr Hallal aims to further increase this accuracy through molecular analyses, with potential outcomes of personalised treatment decisions and improved quality-of-life of GBM patients in Australia.
