Green tea ( camellia sinensis) is one of my favorite ingredients to use when I am formulating for skin care companies, I have green tea growing in my garden that I use for making herbal teas and there is always green tea ice blocks in the fridge to put on burns, bites etc. green tea is a proven protector against uv light, studies done at The American Academy of Dermatology showed that green tea can reduce sunspots, reduces redness in the skin, helps elasticity, reduces swelling and is calming and soothing. Next time you make a pot of green tea, strain, cool and use as a toner or soak a cotton wool pad in the tea and place over the eye are to reduce swelling , the caffeine works wonders!

Have you been to a beauty salon or day spa and had a face peel? Most salons use AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) or BHAs (Salicylic Acid), you can do this at home without all that expense.
Pineapple is a very strong AHA it will dissolve the glue like substance that holds the dead skin together. For very oily and congested skin juice some fresh pineapple add a tablespoon of brewed green tea, soak some Cotten wool in the mix and apply all over the face, do not leave on for more than 5 minutes, you can add some organic honey if you want some hydration. You can slice some pineapple and use it as a loofa in the shower!

I've just made up a natural furniture polish and look at the gleam on my table after one dose.
1/4 cup of white vinegar
1 cup of olive oil
mix together in a jar smooth on with a cloth and polish off with a clean cloth.
Wonderful effect!
