🌬️ Did you know your breath can be one of your most useful tools during pregnancy?
Your breathing naturally changes as your baby grows, but learning to slow down and become more aware of your breath can also help you notice where you’re holding tension.
Your diaphragm and pelvic floor work together as part of your core, so breath awareness can also help you develop a better sense of when to engage and when to relax.
And when labour gets intense, having already practised returning to your breath can give you something familiar to focus on. 🤍
Try the simple breathing practice in the final slide and save this post for later.
At Mother Nurture Yoga, we incorporate breath, movement and body awareness into our prenatal yoga classes to help you feel more connected and prepared throughout pregnancy.
