🧬 Advanced DNA Researchers: Ready to Take Your Chromosome Analysis Further?

Join the SAG GDAT Chromosome Analysis Group, a collaborative Zoom-based user group for genealogists already experienced in chromosome analysis and looking to get more from GDAT (Genealogical DNA Analysis Tool), a powerful platform for managing and analysing DNA segment data.

This group is designed for members who already understand concepts such as triangulation, shared segments, and ICW analysis, and want to apply those skills using GDAT's advanced tools and workflows.

Expect:
✅ Short presentations on advanced DNA topics
✅ Discussion of chromosome analysis techniques
✅ Peer-to-peer knowledge sharing

There’s often a moment in family history research that stays with you - a photograph rediscovered, a line in a diary, or a story passed quietly through generations.

Now is the time to transform that spark into something enduring.

The Croker Prize for Biography is open to all financial members of the Society of Australian Genealogists, and we invite you to share the story of the relative you most wish you’d known.

✍️ Entries should include:
• A biographical essay of 800–1,000 words
• Based on one of your relatives
• Inspired by this year’s theme: The relative I wish I’d met
