Fair question. Let's look at what the research says.
Rosacea is increasingly understood as a chronic inflammatory condition, not just a skin condition. A 2023 case-control study in Scientific Reports (Nature) found inflammatory markers, including CRP and the systemic immune-inflammation index, significantly elevated in the blood of people with rosacea.
A 2023 systematic review in JMIR Dermatology linked rosacea to a higher risk of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and autoimmune conditions. And a growing body of research, including a 2025 review in Clinical and Experimental Medicine, points to the gut-skin connection: when the gut barrier is compromised, it can trigger the kind of systemic inflammation that shows up on the skin.
A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis in the Journal of Herbal Medicine found herbal medicine significantly more effective than controls at improving rosacea skin lesions.
What that doesn't mean: these studies don't prove rosacea causes other conditions, or that having rosacea means something else is wrong. None tested Indi Skin products specifically. This is association, not causation, not a treatment protocol.
We'll always tell you where the evidence stops.
