3 things every desk based worker should be doing daily.

Upper back and neck mobility is super important to counteract the impacts of a sedentary job.

Other things that can be super helpful for this are joint mobilisations, massage, and dry needling.

Is knee valgus actually a problem?

It can be! But it isn’t always.

A slight valgus can be natural for some people. Many strong athletes have a mild valgus without issues.

Knee valgus can be an indicator of poor glute control, or poor tolerance to bending load, which can also be individually tested.

In these cases, these underlying factors need to be addressed to prevent worsening of injury, along with prevention of injury.

Common injuries associated with knee valgus include
ITB syndrome, pesanserine irritation, and patella tendinopathy.

If you notice your knee frequently collapses inwards, it’s best to get the underlying factors assessed to determine if it is a problem for you.
