🌱Avoidant Behaviours in Children
❓Do any of these sounds familiar to you?
Sometimes, what can look like “shyness” or “stubbornness” can actually be a child trying to cope with overwhelming feelings of fear of failure. Avoidant behaviours like: withdrawal, refusing to try, or avoiding eye contact are often signs of anxiety, low self esteem, or the need for emotional safety.
💡Instead of pushing, try to connect.
✨Offer reassurance, build trust, and help them feel safe to take small steps forward
