At Wollondilly Medical Centre, we're proud to support National Stroke Week by raising awareness of the signs of stroke and the importance of acting quickly.

A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age. Recognising the symptoms and responding immediately can make all the difference.

Remember F.A.S.T.:

🧠 Face – Has their face drooped?
💪 Arms – Can they lift both arms?
🗣️ Speech – Is their speech slurred or difficult to understand?
⏰ Time – If you notice any of these signs, call 000 immediately.

Welcome Dr Mohsina Ahmed to Wollondilly Medical Centre.

Dr Mohsina is a dedicated General Practitioner with a strong commitment to patient care.

She has over 15 years of clinical experience from Bangladesh before moving to Australia.

She completed her Master of Public Health from UNSW and a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney.

Dr Mohsina has worked across a range of general practices and nursing homes throughout New South Wales, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to general practice patients.

Dr Mohsina is currently in her pathway towards General Practice Fellowship with RACGP.

Her particular interest is in Chronic Disease Management, Womens and Childrens Health, Pregnancy Care, Elderly Patients, Mental Health.

She speaks English and Bengali.

She is currently practising in Sydney and is available at our clinic on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The Australian Government has updated the way patients provide consent for bulk billing. This helps make it clearer how your appointment is billed and ensures your Medicare benefit is only assigned with your permission.

As of July 1st 2026, you may receive an SMS, email, or push notification from HotDoc requesting your consent for Medicare bulk billing.

It allows your Medicare benefit to be processed as a bulk-billed service.
Please note:

• Consent requests are now mostly digital.

• Verbal consent is no longer accepted.

• You may now be sent a consent request before or after your appointment.

• You may receive a second request if billing details change or if you do not respond to our request.

• We are unable to bulk bill your consultation if consent is not provided.

Dr Ranju Baruah is a General Practitioner who was awarded his MD Dermatology and trained at the Armed Forces Medical College AFMC ( Dermatology) Pune in 2006, post his completion of MBBS from Assam Medical college.

He completed four years of dermatology training with the Australasian College of Dermatologist at Westmead Hospital and St Vincent Hospital Sydney and various other Australian teaching hospitals.
