Today we are wishing our beautiful Jolan all the very best as she finishes up for maternity leave!🤰🤍

It’s hard to believe today is her last day in salon before welcoming her little one. Over the past 6 years, Jolan has become such a valued part of the salon family. Her kindness, knowledge, and genuine care for every client have made such a lasting impact, and we know she is going to be an incredible mum.

While we’ll miss having her in the salon, we are so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to meet her precious baby. 🍼🫶🏼

Jolan will be taking 12 months of maternity leave. But don’t worry, her clients will be in safe hands with the rest of our amazing team. We are all committed to providing the same level of care and making sure you continue to feel right at home at Beautiful Image Tamworth.

We’ll keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as Jolan is getting ready to return. We can’t wait to welcome her back when the time comes!

Please also note that the salon will be closed today from 12:00pm - 1:00pm while our team enjoys a special farewell lunch to celebrate Jolan before she begins this exciting new chapter. Thank you for your understanding.

Maternity Leave ☁️

I cannot believe how quickly this has come!

I will be temporarily closing Wellness by Jolan (my biz baby 🥹) to welcome my darling Baby Grills and start my next season of learning & becoming a mama 🌞 🤍

My last day working will be the 24th of July 2026 and I will be taking 12 months off of everything. Any changes to this and I’ll keep you all updated.

THANK YOU to each and every one of you who has supported me over the years and continued to support me during my pregnancy. I feel so spoilt with wisdom, love, laughs and incredibly thoughtful gifts. What a blessing it is for it to be so hard to say goodbye (for now) to you all as I truly love what I do and cherish you all so much! It’s actually wild how some of you used to be strangers but now feel like friends 🥹

My last yoga event is done. My last private session has been taught. My last beauty day is Friday the 17th and my last yoga class will be on Friday the 24th.

As of the 25th I will be taking a break from everything including my business social media pages, messages and emails. I’ll be setting up those auto respond messages to set boundaries & protect my matrescence bubble 🫧

However I promise to update you all when I’m ready to share that Baby Grills has arrived!!

Can’t wait to see you all on the other side beautiful people!!

The threads that weave women together 🧵

My winter postnatal and prenatal yoga journeys started today. A 6 week course to honour the season these women are in.

I’m always open and excited to see what common threads weave these groups of women together. Todays weavings:

Referrals from previous students 🪡 coming with a friend or colleague 🪡 pregnant women all sharing the intention of connection 🪡 postpartum women all being second time mums

Sometimes in the duality of matrescence we can get lost in feeling opposing things. For example immense gratitude and incredible discomfort.

Becoming conscious and aware of all the threads that weave us together helps us transcend duality into non-duality. The ability to recognise that we are all connected. That we not seperate, that we are all one. Our joy, is their joy. Our sorrow is also their sorrow.

Both groups today are already so connected and it’s only day one. Who knows what magic and sisterhood the next six weeks will bring ✨

And a gentle reminder to all the mama’s and mama’s-to-be out there that you are not alone and that we are all connected, by an invisible thread 🧵

Mindful Self Compassion & Restorative Yoga 🕯️

On Sunday I guided my students through the exploration of Mindful Self Compassion and honestly it’s a pretty big theme. It can be really uncomfortable to ‘sit with your sh*t’ as one of my teachers says, especially when being guided to offer yourself compassion and kindness throughout it all.

*As always everything was optional and students can zone out at any point.*

For a lot of us it’s not ‘normal’ to give ourselves a hug or offer words of kindness. But a friend? A bestie? That’s usually the first thing we do without even a second thought.

So on Sunday we sat with that discomfort (remember Yoga is the practice of getting comfy with the uncomfy) and I’m so grateful to my students for being open to new levels of love and compassion (hello heart chakra cracking open & new layers of self being unlocked).

Compassion for self spreads compassion for others which spread more peace and happiness for the world 🕊️

Ideal for Mums & Bubs from 6 weeks to crawling. No experience needed, com as you are. Mondays at 10:30am: 15th, 22nd, 29th June, 6th, 13th & 20th of July 2026. Total cost: $160 + booking fee (100% or booking fees go to charity)

~ Prenatal Yoga Journey ~
Ideal for second and third trimester mums to be. No experience is needed, come as you are. Mondays at 6pm: 15th, 22nd, 29th June, 6th, 13th & 20th of July 2026. Total cost: $160 + booking fee (100% of booking fees go to charity)

~ June Restorative Yoga Immersion ~
Ideal for every body, including pregnant and postpartum mothers. No experience is needed, come as you are. Sunday the 14th of June 11am-1pm. Cost: $60 + booking fee (100% of booking fees go to charity)

~ July Restorative Yoga Immersion ~
Ideal for every body, including pregnant and postpartum mothers. No experience is needed, come as you are. Sunday the 12th of July 11am-1pm. Cost: $60 + booking fee (100% of booking fees go to charity)

SUPER IMPORTANT:
I will be heavily pregnant so things might look differently. I am not in the season of hearing negative stories, receiving feedback or criticism, unwanted comments on my body or any sentences starting with “Just you wait…”. If this is a bother please do not book! If you book and do any of this it’s straight to yoga jail (AKA Karma).
