I’m not lucky to be 45 & looking as I do.
I don’t just wake up like this! Trust me!
I have been through all the phases.
I’ve been over weight, skinny fat, weak & strong. I’ve bulked (both intentionally & unintentionally), cut & sat at maintenance. I’ve been comfortable in my skin & also very uncomfortable. I’ve picked my body apart, (I’ve fallen apart at times too) but I didn’t let time get away from me, I got back to it!
👇
It’s not genetics or my metabolism, it’s showing up when I didn’t feel like it.
It’s not motivation, it’s choosing discipline over excuses.
It’s not going through the motions, it’s training with intention.
It’s still lifting when life felt heavier than the weights did.
It’s eating the same meals.
It’s trying all the wrong ways before finding the right one & educating myself so I can help others!
It was being overweight & wanting to be ‘thin’ before understanding health & strength.
It’s pushing myself even when no one is watching.
It’s doing it again & again & again.
I’m built by CONSISTENCY, not coincidence, both in the kitchen & the gym!
I am not confident. I am my biggest critic.
I’m stubborn, & unwilling to settle for ‘that’s good enough’.
You can’t out train your diet! It’s science!
It does get harder as the years go on, trust me, I get it. Over the past few years, my body does not respond as well as it once did. It’s hard. Stopping won’t fix it though! Adjustments need to be made. It can still be done!
No matter your age, gender, genetics, starting point, it can be done. YOUR numbers are yours & if you are consistent with the ones aligned with YOUR goal, you can get there. It does get harder but it can be done.
*I don’t post many pics of myself & my training because education is far more important. I practice what I preach but my look doesn’t define me. My knowledge is why my clients get the results they do, that & their dedication & consistency.
